In order to make music exclusively for cats, we studied the feline inner ear and guess what, the feline ear is far more complex than its human counterpart! The average human’s ability-to-hear-range, is limited between 20 and 20.000 Hertz whereas cats’ ability-to-hear-range, is set between 55 and 54.000 Hertz.
So, we asked for help from Music Technology Specialists and they started developing sounds, of slightly higher than 20.000 Hertz. Their work was based upon a Stuart & Sons-made piano of 2018, capable of producing higher than any other musical instrument, note range.
They therefore wrote actual music by extending each note separately beyond the 20.000 Hertz point, by using an application which they developed exclusively for this purpose.
And that’s how we managed to create… music EXCLUSIVELY for cats
